Mrs. Michele Heisel was saved at the age of 16 at Northland Camp. Even though Michele knew what salvation was, she had never personalized it to mean that Christ died for her and that she needed Him to be her Savior. That night in July Michele trusted Him to forgive her of her sins and to come into her heart to save her. She was baptized by immersion 2 weeks later. Her life verse is Exodus 15:2.
Michele was born in Springfield, Missouri, but has called home in four different states: Missouri, Alabama, Illinois and Wisconsin. She went wherever God directed her family as her dad is a pastor.
Michele graduated high school from Faith Christian School in Coleman, WI. She attended and graduated college from Northland Baptist Bible College in 2001 with a degree in Elementary Education. She taught a combined first and second grade class for three years (1999-2002) at Faith Christian in Coleman, WI.
Michele’s husband, Craig, and her have been married 13 years this last April (1999). They have two beautiful girls that God has given to them. Laurie is 9 and in 4th grade at CBCS and Lindsey is 5 and in K5 at CBCS.
In Michele’s free time, which she doesn’t think she has anymore, she loves to read and do cross stitch. She also loves spending time with her family.
